Reporting Potholes and Road Issues – Contact North Yorkshire Council
Cayton Parish Council would like to remind residents that potholes, damaged road surfaces, and other highway issues are not the responsibility of the Parish Council. All road maintenance and repairs are managed directly by North Yorkshire Council.

If you spot a pothole or any road condition problem in the village, you can report it quickly and easily using one of the following methods:
- Report online: North Yorkshire Council provides an online reporting system where you can log potholes, damaged pavements, and other road concerns. Visit: Potholes and road condition issues on the North Yorkshire Council website.
- Report by phone: If you prefer to speak to someone, you can call North Yorkshire Council and provide details of the issue.
