Dog Show 9th August
Informal Dog Show with various categories from the waggiest tail to the lovliest oldie , taking place on the Greenbelt off West Garth in Cayton. Prizes for all the winners
Cayton is an outstanding village and civil parish near to the coastal town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, England. Containing it’s very own bay, a surfers paradise , previously awarded the ENCAMS Seaside Award and the distinctive blue and yellow flag. Cayton Bay beach is also Marine Conservation Society Recommended and one of only 105 British Isle beaches awarded the Quality Coast Award. Cayton Parish encompasses Cayton Bay and Killerby as well as the village of Cayton and is a welcoming place to live and visit with a great community spirit.

If you are brimming with ideas of events and activities for the Parish then get in touch , we would like some volunteers on the Events committee They meet approximately every three months , contact the clerk
We currently have three vacancies for Parish Councillors , contact the Parish Office to discuss the role- letters of application to the Clerks office by 14th August 2pm 2025
The Parish Council have planning permission for the development of a sports and fitness exercise area on the land that Barrett’s have left for the community on West Garth.
