North Yorkshire Council has advised of a planned overnight road restriction on Carr Lane, Cayton and Folkton, for railway plain line tamping works. The restriction will be in place between 22:35 and 06:00 on the night of 15 to 16 September 2026. Please plan journeys accordingly.
North Yorkshire Council will be carrying out essential highway maintenance on Mill Lane, Cayton, from No. 6 to the A165 roundabout on 14 August 2026. Temporary traffic management and road restrictions will be in place. Residents are advised to plan journeys accordingly.

North Yorkshire Council has announced a temporary parking suspension on Beck Hole, Cayton, on 12 August 2026 for essential highway maintenance. The restriction forms part of a wider programme running between 10 and 14 August 2026. Residents are advised to check traffic management details online.
