Proposed Speed Limit Changes for Cayton

North Yorkshire Council Notice: Planned Road Restriction on Carr Lane, Cayton and Folkton (15 to 16 September 2026)
North Yorkshire Council has advised of a planned overnight road restriction on Carr Lane, Cayton and Folkton, for railway plain line tamping works. The restriction will be in place between 22:35 and 06:00 on the night of 15 to 16 September 2026. Please plan journeys accordingly.

Parking concerns in Cayton should be reported directly to North Yorkshire Council, which is responsible for civil parking enforcement across the area. The Police generally deal only with offences involving danger, obstruction or criminal matters.
