North Yorkshire Police have issued a renewed warning to rural communities as fuel theft continues to rise across the county. With the increasing cost of heating oil, diesel and petrol, properties storing fuel—whether domestic or commercial—are becoming more frequent targets.
PC Jamie Manson, Scarborough Rural, is urging residents, farmers and local businesses to review and strengthen their security arrangements to reduce the risk of theft.
