Cllr Will Barraclough
I spent a lot of my childhood in Cayton and always found it a safe, welcoming place. Now that I’ve moved back with my own family, I want my children to grow up with that same village, and joining the parish council is my way of helping to keep it that way.
I run a local IT business, and I’ve seen first-hand how many people are left behind now that so much has to be done online. Tackling digital exclusion is one of my priorities, so that everyone in Cayton can get the help and services they need.
I also worked in school transport for the better part of two decades and saw far too many near misses outside school gates. I’m keen to make the roads around our schools safer, particularly where parking on school keep clear markings puts children at risk.
If there’s anything you’d like to raise with me, please get in touch.
