Cllr Roberta Swiers

Roberta has been on Cayton Parish Council for over 20 years and has held the role of both Chairman and Vice Chairman, she is also the Chair of our Planning Committee and a member of the Village Maintenance Committee, Events and the Finance Committee as well. She is currently the Chairman of this Parish Council.

Along with some other Councillors and members of the public, Roberta is part of the Speedwatch group as well as being the Chair of both the Jubilee Hall Management Committee and the Village Hall Managment Committee. She is currently the Chair of the Yorkshire Local Councils Association Scarborough Branch .

Roberta has been a County Councillor for a number of years with North Yorkshire Council and recently she has held the roles of both Vice Chair and currently the Chair of the Unitary Authority. She has a wealth of knowledge about the Parish and also is well versed in assisting residents with various issues, she is very approachable and will do her best to help with various matters within her remit
